What is Casual Weekend?

Casual weekends will be scheduled in advance, approximately one weekend per month during the warm season.

How does Casual Weekend work?

If you have an interest in clothing optional Recreation, purchase a membership, we will mail you the schedule, as well as rates, it is pay per day or per site depending on your desires or needs, and size of your party. You can opt for per person per day, or group rates with a site. You will be on a member mailing list, if we have additions to the scheduled days you will be notified of those as well.

Why not open every weekend?

Because Montana and Wyoming are large states with the population spread out hundreds of miles. We find it works better for those traveling here to converge on a single weekend with some assurance there will be enough people here to make their trip worthwhile. By funneling people into one weekend, we have enough people to have a dynamic atmosphere, yet the place is large enough so that people can be spread out. Scheduled weekends may seem inconvenient, but with everyone concentrated to a single weekend, it will make your trip a little more adventurous and interesting. By scheduling we have a better idea of hosting, staffing and food service needs.

What is the Nex-Gen discount?

It's a 50% discount on nearly all the rates. It can be applied by anyone under 50 but above the minimum age of 21, it also applies to women of any age above 21. Our original purpose in starting the Oasis was to promote nude Recreation and make a venue available in Montana. We understand cost may seem prohibitive, we can't help it, things are expensive. But as a practical matter older folks are generally more financially set then younger demographics. So it's kind of a give and take, older folks we think are happy to pay the regular rates to support nude Recreation, and discount to the younger up and coming nudists helps to get the next generation of nudists involved at a lower price point. We think it ends up being a win-win situation for everybody!

Is Casual Weekend expensive?

It could be more expensive than a basic clothing type campground. We have a membership fee plus a day fee or a site fee, we don't charge separately for camping. Of course our fees are divided between 1 to 3 people depending on your party, so you can certainly save money by bringing a partner.

One thing to remember, a clothing required campground can cater to all people, whereas a clothing optional venue is more of a niche clientele with a much smaller percentage of the population to pool from. We are limited to only that small percentage of the population that has an interest in nude or clothing optional Recreation.

They specialize in camping, we specialize in Clothing Optional Adventure! It's not practical to compare the two.

I will say that the nearby KOA is super nice, green grass and paved roads, power all the amenities that a person could want. And if you're into that, there you go. But if you want to camp naked Badlands Oasis is the right place!

Is nudity required?

No, nudity is common, but it is not required.

We are truly clothing optional! Feel to maintain whatever clothing comfort level you like.

Are casual weekends crowded?

We don't know, it's something we're just starting, we've been doing nude Recreation here a long time, so we have a pretty good feel for what works and what doesn't, single events can be pretty crowded, in fact over full, but full access weekends every weekend, made for some pretty dull weekends. Whereas casual weekends we think we can hit the sweet spot between each extreme, having a casual weekend that's just right. Also, if single weekends get too crowded we can always add more weekends.

2026 Season Membership

Includes the remainder of the 2025 season, we may have one or two casual weekends near the end of the 2025 season, it's dependent on construction projects and access. With the 2026 season membership you will be notified if we have any 2025 events (Casual weekends are a new idea, we're tying both seasons together to get it rolling).

Casual weekends will be held at the Oasis 33 area,

(the Wasteland area is not yet accessible).

With the Casual weekend membership, you will receive complete price detail as well as the weekend schedule when available.

The price varies depending on number of days and site desired.

The casual weekend membership is $150

The Next-Gen Discount 50% off!

Applies to anyone under 50, but over 21, and any women of any age above 21. The next-gen discount is 50% off membership and most all of the weekend fees, including a basic vehicle tent van site (it does not apply to the RV sites at the Oasis area). But it can be used for the RV sites across the road in the overflow area.

Rates below include a site, and a day fee is not necessary. So the price that you see is all that you pay (other than your annual membership.

$150 for 2 days vehicle, van or tent site Friday through Saturday or Saturday through Sunday. 1-3 people domestic partners / significant others.

$175 Friday through Sunday vehicle tent or van site. (Oasis 33 area).

$300 RV site big enough to accommodate a small unit, generally under 30 ft. Friday through Sunday.

$125 large RV in the overflow area across the highway from the Oasis.

You can add days to your site before or after the scheduled weekend, usually at a rate of $50 per day. But we will try to include free setup and tear down days before and after.

Next generation discount applies to anyone under 50 years of age, must be over 21 to join. The same discount applies to women of any age above 21.

*Don't drive intoxicated or impaired, feel free to crash out here, there are plenty of areas for you to park and sleep it off in your vehicle, or even bring your camp gear (or bed roll). just in case.

Grub options:

We will have a basic cash snack bar available during the afternoon, (at the grill house porch). Chicago dogs and snacks, and burgers. We plan to serve between 12:00 noon to 2:00 and again from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. put in your order at the grill trailer if you're interested.

Or feel free to bring your own grub, to do your own thing. Some people just hit Walmart on their way in, pick up sandwich fixings, or those ready-made big hoagie sandwiches. And some people grill food at their own site.

And there will be a casual potluck table available for those wanting to bring and share their own favorite snacks. (Sealed foods). If anyone wants to volunteer to coordinate a more elaborate potluck, let us know we will forward your email to other members. We just don't have time to coordinate the potluck ourselves, but if other people want to do it that's great!

NO sharing of alcoholic beverages, except those that came with you or in your group.

NO sharing of any unsealed beverages. (Drugging is a real risk).

**A friend of yours will need their own membership, unless they are a domestic partner.

To bring a friend and share your site, your friend will need to get their own membership through us, but your site costs stay the same up to 3 people.
