Traveling through Montana?
Firstly, Welcome to Montana!
Unfortunately, we're not set up to accommodate short-term bookings, we are not a public campground nor resort, we don't have a clerk or host to receive you. Check our event schedule page, an event may fit your itinerary. Alternatively, an Exposure Membership gives you access without a reservation, and may be cost-effective if you plan to be in the area a week or more.
Day Passes:
If your burning desire is social nudity for a day, We Dig! We understand your plight! Unfortunately, we are not set up to offer day passes. A scheduled event is as short-term as we get.... However, Lolo Hot Springs Resort offers day passes! Back to Nature Nights are Sundays and Wednesdays.

Reservations,
We are not structured as an individual booking type Resort or Campground. As such, we are not able to accommodate passes or individual reservations except for Events and Memberships.
If you feel strongly that individual Reservations and Day Passes should be made available, you are welcome to open your own establishment, and offer all the Individual Reservations and Day passes you like.
We're always happy to set up your Event Reservations, or Membership options.
Free first time passes
We tried doing it in the past, we didn't find it particularly productive, so we don't do it. We're not staffed with a host or clerk, so it just doesn't work.
In the spirit of keeping access costs low, we offer three options to streamline membership offering full access; summer memberships and 12 month memberships, and single event memberships. We offer more suntan for less money. Our 4-month membership is probably cheaper than a single week at a refined Campground.
If there is something we can do don't hesitate to drop us a line!
Oasis 33 was only created to meet the niche of Clothing Optional- Nude Recreation. There were no other places in Montana or Wyoming offering a venue for this activity. We rose to fill the void and Oasis 33 was created.
We are not a Campground or Resort, that was never our purpose, this is why we're not set up for individual bookings. We have zero interest in being in the campground industry.
If you crave the nude life or nude events we have memberships for both, and they include camping.
The tax code classifies us "travel and tourism industry", because they didn't have a classification for "clothing optional specialist".
Our mission statement explains our purpose.
Mission:
-Provide and maintain a Nude Recreation Retreat.
-Promote Nude Recreation as a Virtuous Sport.
-Promote business establishments, organizations, and events that responsibly provide clothing optional and nude venues.
Objective: Oasis 33 was designed to operate sustainably considering the spread out population challenges of Montana. We operate cost-effectively, amenities are sparse, staffing is nil, we don't waste money on fluff, nor advertising; interested persons should be able to find us. Oasis 33 is forward looking, planning improvements and expansion while maintaining fiscal responsibility, we can survive even thrive under any economic conditions, irregardless of membership counts. But, it is membership support that justifies expansion and improvement..
Challenges:
There are some unique challenges for nude recreation in this region. A nude resort with traditional modern amenities would be nice, but may not be practical. Montana is one of the least populated states in the nation, Montana is geographically one of the largest states in the nation, the small population is spread out across vast plaines and mountainous regions. A nudist resort couldn't have concentrated population or traffic to pool from It would be difficult for a resort of high operational costs to remain in operation. The potential visitor traffic is spread over hundreds of miles, and that presents a challenge, since it's unlikely a nude resort would get enough customer traffic or income to support the cost of the operation. The national average of practicing nudists is speculated to be about 1% of the total population, if that estimate is even close to accurate, then Montana has only 10,000 practicing nudists. The resort would be lucky to have a thousand practicing nudist within a casual drive of the resort. A single large city in the US has higher population than the entire state of Montana. And yet, some seem surprised there is no large nude resort. Now, don't get me wrong, we love the elbow room of Montana. I'm only attempting to offer my speculated explanation as to why Montana has no thriving nude resort. In short, build it and not enough will come to support it.
Another challenge is cold climate, your Montana Resort will be lucky to have five months of operation per season. Your Resort would need to bring in enough money in 4 months to cover the establishment costs of 12 months. Resorts in the southern and western states certainly have the advantage, they can operate year-round, as well as a population more than 10 times what we have here in Montana. Oasis 33 is here as a practical venue to bridge those challenging gaps.
We certainly don't want to discourage anyone from building a nudist resort, it is possible even though the others have failed. If you run a lean mean operation, near the right City, with high enough fees it could work. If you build it on debt anticipating customer fees to meet the debt payments, you will most certainly fail, and the bank will own your cute little resort.
Montana has advantages over other states. Montanans seem generally accepting to nude recreation, and the population that practices outward nudity is by my estimates, probably higher by percentage than the national average. Most Montanans probably wouldn't care if you're naked, so long as you eat beef and love guns.
Background:
Nude Recreation gained popularity in the late 1920's By the 1930's numerus Nude Resorts were being founded across the United States. Unfortunately, by the second half of that century nude resorts began a slow decline.
