Here we attempt to answer some of the more common questions and concerns. My mother, the hippie nudist, always said "there's no such thing as stupid questions". I venomously disagree! But I try to answer all of them, sometimes cheerfully, other times not so cheerfully.
1-Question: How do I become a member?
The club campgrounds are not staffed, therefore, person's need to be screened before they are given access to the Club.
Upon membership completion you're given the combination code to the gate and the specific location, with directions.....
Please fill out the membership application. Find the membership application by clicking here.
Answer: Old black-and-white nudes are wonderful art that just can't be recreated, it also reminds people that nudism is nothing new it's been going on in the US for a long time, many nude Recreation areas opened in the 1920s and 30s.
several of the front page pictures are my wife and I that we've converted from color to Black and White. I'm amazed at how many people can't figure that out. And the same pictures are posted elsewhere on this website in their original color format. A discerning eye would have caught that!
We're not running a zoo for you to come take a peek. If you're serious about recreational nudity you won't mind paying the fees up front..... Scammers want a free peek to fulfill curiosities or fetishes. We find charging fees upfront weeds them out pretty quickly. that saves us time thereby keeping membership costs low.
If the Club were staffed to greet new members, fees and membership dues would have to be substantially higher to meet the additional cost of staffing. This is a low cost self service recreational camping club.
if you're seeking a fully staffed resort the closest one I know of is in Idaho, and it's a very nice place of course those amenities and services will command a much higher price for you. So it just depends on what you are looking for.
Members have 24-hour access to the club, it's locked with a combination lock. Members receive the combination to the lock when their membership is approved.
If you haven't heard from us after you filled out your application, chances are you've omitted something. And we haven't gotten back to you because we feel the omission was either intentional or glaringly obvious..
The most common reason is because you've turned in an application without making the required payment.
We have made a few exceptions and admit someone without payment, and each time it's been a complete waste of time. They end up being zero people playing a game. We would rather devote our time and energy to serious people and productive tasks. Obviously, an hour spent corresponding with a zero person, is time better spent building the Club.
It's not difficult at all, if you filled out the application and made the required payment, in most cases you are admitted within a few hours. Or by the next morning if you applied at night.
If you are finding it difficult, it's because you are making it difficult,. If you're trying to skip the process and connive your way in, then it's going to be more difficult. (Or impossible)
It's very simple, you fill out the form and submit your payment, we welcome you to the club it's all handled within one or two emails.
Yes the website does break traditional marketing rules. Most companies want the customer to find information fast, and pay fast.
They use more of a cliff notes or tabloid form. They are geared towards sales, we are geared towards participation. So our strategy needs to be different.
We use more of a textbook format, skimming wouldn't really work to absorbed the information, we'd like a person to pause and focus and determine if membership is right for them.
Like I say, we're not interested in sales, we are interested in gaining members.
Cell service is 4G, II or III bars, sometimes more. Obviously adverse weather could negatively affect this.
If you have no cell-service when you arrive....
Try either powering your phone off, and back on again. Or turn on airplane mode then wait a few seconds and turn airplane mode off. Either one of these should get you back in cell service range.
The temporary loss in signal seems to have something to do with the club being between two towers, and switching from one tower to the other when you leave the highway to the higher elevation of the club. Both towers support all the phone carriers.
No, not really. We screen a single male or a male applying individually, only to make sure that they understand that this isn't some sort of a porm fast. (I can tell by the emails, some of them really think this some sort of a sex free for all) obviously it's not anything like that. And additional screening for one gender is discriminatory, but it's to save them time and money, and aggravation.
Other than that, our only concern is that the person applying has an interest in recreational nudity.
We don't concern ourselves with sexual orientation, race nor ethnicity, Nor countries of origin.
We have one issue and that is nude Recreation! Or three issues if you count peace and relaxation.
We have members of all shapes sizes, colors, and sexual preference. We don't ask those sorts of questions,if a person wants to talk about it that's fine, it's a club and you can talk about whatever you want.
You can connect with other members a couple ways, one you could join the club and get to know them. Or, you could join this club's group page on truenudists.com
True nudists is free, but if you join and want people to take you seriously, set up a legitimate profile with information and a picture. Here's a link to the club page:
That is just to join the Club page, but to join this Club you still need to go through the membership process.
